Sharisse John
Director of Children and Teen Ministries
Sharisse serves as the Director of Children and Teen Ministry at Calvary Church, a role she finds incredibly fulfilling. She finds joy in welcoming and engaging with all families, ensuring both current members and new visitors feel connected and valued. She is passionate about engaging with children, teens, and their parents on a personal level, and her goal is to help raise young disciples for Jesus while equipping parents to confidently lead them in their faith journey.
Originally born on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sharisse spent most of her life in Brooklyn, NY, before becoming a resident of Connecticut after her marriage to Jeremy in 2015. She and Jeremy are blessed with two children. Outside of her ministry, Sharisse enjoys seeking out adventure experiences, traveling, unwinding with a good board game, or getting lost in an insightful audiobook or podcast.
